SILKY TRESSES WITH HONEY AND COCONUT OIL

Long smooth shiny hair like Rapunzel is any girl's dream. Hair care is something that is often skipped. We often settle for some shampoo or serum which is high on chemicals; some people even rely on tablets that might affect our body as well. Even going to the best hair stylist can't help you if you're not treating your hair with natural elements, your problem won't reach a permanent solution. Natural ingredients treat your hair from the root without creating another for your body or hormones.

Coconut oil has always been on the bestsellers list of hair care products, but did you know when paired with honey, it can create magic!

WHY IS COCONUT OIL AND HONEY GOOD FOR YOUR HAIR?

Most of the hair problems start from the scalp. A normal amount of sebum produced by the sebaceous glands is good for your scalp and hair health. But because of pollution, dirt, and product accumulation, or even medication, sebum is produced in more than what's necessary. And this can lead to flaky skin, dandruff, oily scalp, hairfall, clogged pores and many other issues. Coconut oil helps in nourishing your scalp through its fatty acids and vitamins by penetrating to the hair cuticle.

Honey, on the other hand, helps the epithelial cells to grow, which is extremely important for hair growth. Emollients smoothen hair and Humectants are responsible for moisturization of the scalp and surprisingly both are present in honey. As we all know, honey is a natural antioxidant, and this is substantial enough to undery why honey ensures a healthy scalp and hair growth stimulation. Also if you have issues like itching, infections, or Psoriasis, honey can work like a natural hair cleanser. Be it conditioning, giving your full hair a great sheen, or treating itching from the root- honey is a total package of a great hair care.

A SOOTHING MASK FOR A HEALTHY HAIR

Here's a teeny-weeny DIY for your hair problems using honey and coconut oil. You would need:

2 Tablespoons of Raw Honey

2 Tablespoons of Virgin Coconut Oil

Mix the two until they blend into a thick paste. Now start applying strand-by-strand starting from the hair ends to your scalp. With a wide bristle comb gently remove knots if any and brush it through to uniformly distribute the mixture throughout the scalp. Now wrap your hair in a hot towel and leave it for about 20 minutes. This mask is beneficial for every hair and its problems. You can do this once or twice a week. Wash it off with a mild shampoo or gram flour and let the hair dry
